MJ Leckie Carpentry

is a company located on the Northern Beaches of Sydney NSW and born from my passion for timber construction methods. I have been interested in working with timber since I started my apprenticeship in timber boat building. From restoring traditional wooden boats in Sydney to working with builders doing house extensions and on construction sites in Canada, I have a lot of experience working with various timbers on a number of complex projects.

The builders and carpenters I have work with over the years have all had one word of advice, do the job one and do it properly. When viewing our quotes or estimates take into consideratino that we have allowed enogh time to do the work neatly and the right way to avoid having to return and repair work that was not done to a high standard to start with.

We consider ourselfs to be skilled deck builders and I have many years of experience of working with timber to know the do and don'ts of building decks.

With over twenty years of experience on such a vast range of projects I have work with many materials and have worked with some skilled tradesman to show me how it is done correctly.

We take allot of pride in what we do and aim to leave a project having you as a client feeling like you had the best tradesman in your area carry and the work and mention our name to many Friends and family so we can provide them with the same top carpentry services.
